The updated 2009 edition of the spectroscopic database GEISA (Gestion et Etude des Informations Spectroscopiques Atmosphériques; Management and Study of Atmospheric Spectroscopic Information) is described in this paper. GEISA is a computer-accessible system comprising three independent sub-databases devoted, respectively, to: line parameters, infrared and ultraviolet/visible absorption cross-sections, microphysical and optical properties of atmospheric aerosols. Sympathetic Nervous System Synchrony in Couple Therapy

The aim of this study was to test whether there is statistically significant sympathetic nervous system (SNS) synchrony between participants in couple therapy. To our knowledge, this is the first study to measure psychophysiological synchrony during therapy in a multiactor setting. The study focuses on electrodermal activity (EDA) in the second couple therapy session from 10 different cases (20 clients, 10 therapists working in pairs). The EDA concordance index was used as a measure of SNS synchrony between dyads, and synchrony was found in 85% of all the dyads. Lietotājam ir iespēja apģērbus atlasīt un meklēt pēc nosaukuma, izmantot filtrus un pieteikties, lai konkrētus apģērbus pielaikotu. Tīmekļa vietnes pārvaldniekiem tiek dota iespēja pārvaldīt tīmekļa vietni un viegli mainīt vietnes saturu, produktu klāstu. Tīmekļa vietne tiek veidota izmantojot Laravel tīmekļa ietvaru, balstoties uz MVC arhitektūras modeļa. Dati tiek glabāti MySQL datubāzē. Darba rezultāts ir apģērbu e-komercijas tīmekļa vietne.

Cost-Oriented Recommendation Model for E-Commerce

Contemporary Web stores offer a wide range of products to e-customers. However, online sales are strongly dominated by a limited number of bestsellers whereas other, less popular or niche products are stored in inventory for a long time. Thus, they contribute to the problem of frozen capital and high inventory costs. To cope with this problem, we propose using information on product cost in a recommender system for a Web store. We discuss the proposed recommendation model, in which two criteria have been included: a predicted degree of meeting customer’s needs by a product and the product cost.

Produkcijas un darba uzskaites sistēma ir SIA „Rīgas Meži” iekšējā tīklā bāzēta sistēma, kuras mērķis ir uzglabāt kokzāģētavas „Norupe” produkcijas un darbinieku nostrādātos laikus. Sistēma paredzēta kokzāģētavas „Norupe” darbiniekiem, padarot ērtāku uzskaiti starp vairākām personām. Sistēmas lietotājiem ir iespēja veikt produkciju pievienošanu kādā no kokzāģētavas nodaļām – zāģētava vai šķirotava, un uzskaitīt darbinieku nostrādātos laikus, tādējādi atspoguļojot mēneša sniegumu katrā nodaļā un parādot darbinieku statistiku. Zāģētavas un šķirotavas darbiniekiem atsevišķi izrēķināta arī mēneša alga par padarīto darbu.

Characterization of the Apical Membrane Antigen-1 in Italian Strains of Babesia bigemina

Summary Babesia bigemina is a parasite endemic in different parts of the world, including Europe and the Americas. One of the few genes characterized in this species codifies for the Apical Membrane Antigen 1 (AMA-1), a trans-membrane antigen recently identified. In this research, we characterized the ama-1 gene from three Italian B. bigemina strains, two B. bigemina strains obtained from Ragusa, Sicily (ITA1 and ITA3) and a third one obtained from Benevento, Campania (ITA2).
